Release the first five Ice Age movies on 4K Blu-Ray

Release the first five Ice Age movies on 4K Blu-Ray
The Issue
The Ice Age movies have been an essential part of many people's childhoods, providing joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories through their remarkable storytelling and beloved characters. Since 2016, when "Ice Age: Collision Course" was released in 4K Blu-Ray, fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the other four films of the franchise in the same high-resolution format. For those of us who grew up watching Manny, Sid, Diego, and the rest of the herd, the availability of these films in stunning 4K would allow us to relive our childhoods in unprecedented clarity and quality.
Disney acquired Blue Sky Studios in 2019 along with 20th Century Fox (now known as 20th Century Studios) and subsequently shut it down, leaving many fans anxious about the future of the Ice Age franchise. Despite these changes, the anticipation remains strong, especially with the potential release of "Ice Age Boiling Point" slated for February of 2027. To honor the legacy of Blue Sky Studios and keep the spirit of Ice Age alive, it is imperative that Disney consider releasing the first five movies in 4K Blu-Ray format before the next installment's debut.
The release of these classics in 4K would not only satisfy long-time fans but also introduce a new generation to the timeless adventures of the Ice Age characters. The enhanced visual quality and sound of 4K Blu-Ray can elevate the viewing experience, emphasizing the beautiful animation and incredible narratives that have defined the franchise.
We urge Disney and related stakeholders to acknowledge the cultural and nostalgic significance of the Ice Age series and make it accessible in the 4K format that it rightly deserves. Doing so will enrich the cinematic collection of families worldwide and reinforce the enduring charm of these films.
Please sign this petition to show your support for bringing the first five Ice Age movies to life in 4K Blu-Ray (even a re-release of Collision Course on 4K Blu-Ray as well). Together, we can make a difference and preserve the legacy of our cherished childhood adventures.
