This petition is petitioning for the release of the extra five or six hours of footage not featured in The Beatles: Get Back (2021). Director Peter Jackson has discussed with Disney and Apple Corps to release the unseen footage, however both companies are hesitant with the decision. Both Disney and Apple are "reluctant" and argue that "there’s no market anymore for extended cuts".

Get Back was highly received by its audience and met with immediate demand for the excluded content. Get Back offered an immersive experience to fans; the runtime of the footage creating an effect making the viewer feel as if they eye-witnessed The Beatles. Jackson wishes to release the unseen footage, but the halt is being pushed by both Disney and Apple Corps. Fans reacted with disapproval hearing the news. Many fans are doing as much to show that there is demand and high-marketing opportunities.

Putting the footage back into the Disney vaults is wasting a piece of music history. It also would be an opportunity that is missed for a high-grossing documentary.
