In 1973, A Doraemon anime series was greenlit to air on Nippon TV in Japan. The series consisted of 26 episodes, each containing two segments. The series was well received by the public and was on track to get a second season and more episodes until Nippon TV Video went bankrupt, Causing a sudden cancellation. The show continued to air reruns until 1979 when TV Asahi's Doraemon series premiered, Fujiko F. Fujio ordered Nippon Tv to order other channel to cease airing the show. Since then, The series has been consider lost media and only a few things have resurfaced from this forgotten TV series. I wish to change that, I believe that since the Doraemon franchise has established a good reputation (The '73 series was cancelled to avoid ruining the reputation of the '79 series.) and the upcoming anniversary of the 1979 series, The 1973 series should get an official release.
