Dear Del Rey,

We, the loyal fans of Star Wars EU kindly request to continue the Legends series with our beloved heroes and release the canceled “Sword of the Jedi” trilogy. The names of Christie Golden, Steve Perry, Michael Stackpole and others are very popular in our community. We cherish the rich 40-year EU  publishing history and believe there is great potential for new adventures both old-school and new fans can enjoy.

We believe these stories can co-exist with Canon books, bring business to the Star Wars IP and attract new audience as Star Wars: VISIONS show has demonstrated!

OUR REQUEST:

• Bring Christie Golden to write “Sword of the Jedi” trilogy
• Have the story group analyze what made NJO, Legacy, & Fate of the Jedi series great
• Continue Jaina Solo’s journey consistent with previous Legends novels narrative style
• Release it in hardcover, e-book, and audiobook formats for fans to enjoy
