🟥 Thursday, 4.07.2024
15:00 - 17:00, in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building, Ulica al. J. Ch. Szucha 23, Warsaw
We will gather to express our gratitude and support to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland and especially to Minister Radosław Sikorski for the decisive implementation of the ultimatum to Lukashenko.
The pressure that is now yielding results is a sovereign decision of Poland, made in coordination with key partners. Participants in our initiative have been systematically explaining for more than six months why this could work. We worked both on the streets and in offices.
We are glad that we were heard in Warsaw, Berlin, Brussels, and Beijing. Their costs due to the created crisis are high, and everyone sees the reason.
We have clear demands: regional security and the release of political prisoners. We are grateful to the government and the president of Poland for the non-partisan consensus on this issue.
We hope that people will be released. But systemic changes are needed to stop the repression in Belarus.
