Release more new Nintendo 3DS video games
The Issue
The Nintendo 3DS holds a special place in my heart and many others' hearts due to its unique blend of nostalgia and innovation. Growing up with this platform, I cherished every game and moment shared with friends and family. Yet, with the arrival of the Nintendo Switch and continued advancements in gaming technology, the Nintendo 3DS seems to have been prematurely abandoned in the market, leaving fans yearning for more. I believe it’s time to revive the Nintendo 3DS with a fresh wave of video games that can continue to bring joy to countless fans like myself.
The Nintendo 3DS has witnessed the cancellation or lack of follow-up of some truly promising titles like "AeternoBlade II," "Assassin's Creed: Lost Legacy," "The Binding of Isaac," "BloodRayne: The Shroud," and "Bomberman 3DS," to name but a few. These games, many of which were highly anticipated, held the promise of enriching the 3DS game catalog with diverse and engaging experiences. Their incomplete journey is a loss not only to gamers but also to the potential market revenue they could generate due to the loyal fan base of the 3DS.
In a saturated gaming market, it's easy for companies to lose sight of niche audiences. However, maintaining support for the Nintendo 3DS by developing new games can tap into this niche, ensuring gamers who hold the handheld console dear are not left behind. The market for retro and classic gaming has seen a resurgence in recent years, and Nintendo could take advantage of this trend by reintroducing or developing new titles specifically for the Nintendo 3DS.
One practical solution would be for Nintendo to establish a development initiative or partnership aiming specifically at reviving these canceled games. Additionally, independent developers could be encouraged with incentives or grants to create new and exclusive content for the 3DS, celebrating the console's legacy while introducing fresh gameplay for its passionate community.
The success of games like "Mighty No. 9" and "Mega Man Legends 3” illustrates that there remains a hungry audience for innovative engagements on the 3DS. Reviving these projects or creating new titles can bolster Nintendo's community-centric reputation while catering to a demographic with significant purchasing power and unwavering brand loyalty.
Join me in urging Nintendo to reopen its doors to 3DS game development. Sign this petition if you believe in preserving the history and future of the Nintendo 3DS by expanding its game library and bringing joy to a dedicated community of fans. Let's make our voices heard and ensure that our beloved 3DS continues to thrill and entertain for years to come.
And create 140, AeternoBlade II, Assassin's Creed: Lost Legacy, The Binding of Isaac, BloodRayne: The Shroud, Bomberman 3DS, Bonk: Brink of Extinction, C-Wars, Chocobo Racing 3D, Cult County, DJ Hero 3D, Untitled Fire Emblem remake, Gunlord, Kaio: King of Pirates, Kororinpa, Legend of Raven (Yatagarasu), Mega Man Legends 3, Mighty No. 9, Monster Tale Ultimate, My Garden, Obscure 3 / Obscure D, Omega Five, Omori, Retro Mystery Club Vol.1: The Ise-Shima Case, Saints Row: Drive-By, Seaman, Wonder Flick R, WWE Brawl, Inazuma Eleven 4, Rayman 3D (Rayman 2: The Great Escape), dubbed in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Japanese, Portuguese, Brazil, Russian, and Swedish, with enhancements like The Globox Village, Glob Crystals, and Minigames being The Walk of Bravery, The Globox Village, Glob Crystals, and Minigames being The Bonus Level, Pyralums, Weblums, The Disk, Lift, Invader, Menezis, Invade, Roller Coaster Challenge, Waterski Challenge, Ray-Type Challenge, Dogfight, Baby Football, and The Schplong incorporated to be added to that and the Male Narrator to narrate the prologue and the whole story to speak their actual lines, Rayman 3 HD (Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc), with The Aquatic World and lots of minigames added being 2D Madness, Racket Jump, Crush, Razoff Circus, Sentinel, Missile Command, Balloons, Special Invaders, Commando, Mad Trax, Wheelis, 2D Nightmare, Chess minigame, and Xowar minigame and many more characters added in it, Rayman Origins, Rayman Legends, Rayman Adventures, Crash Bandicoot N.
