Release Funds for the Aligarh Muslim University Centre in Kishanganj

Release Funds for the Aligarh Muslim University Centre in Kishanganj
The Issue
In the 21st century, education is the ideal tool for tackling all forms of social evils, reducing prevailing disparities and means of ensuring self-development and creating a prosperous nation.
Recently, the Government of India, in its Monsoon Session, passed relevant Bills to establish premier institutes in several parts of the country. However, it is unfortunate that during the Bihar elections the previous year, little heed was paid towards the plight of educational institutes. For instance, 5 of the 10 Blocks in Kishanganj, Bihar, have no degree colleges within its jurisdiction, illustrating the desperate need for the residents of this region to migrate away from their homes.
Although the UPA-led Government did allot land for facilitating the institution of professional colleges by providing land for the establishment of Aligarh Muslim University Centre, Kishanganj and later in the fiscal year 2013-14 the same government allotted Rs. 135.4 crores. UPA Government had released ₹10 crores in the fiscal year 2013-14. It is unfortunate that this government has not released any amount from the year 2014 onwards.
Despite my efforts of making the concerned authorities aware of the need for the constructive development of education in this region by writing several letters, making repeated assertions in the Zero Hour (see video), I have received no affirmative response with that effect, consequently affecting the young generations of my region to avail best quality education.
I appeal to the masses to join hands with me and aid my endeavours as the representative of the residents of Kishanganj to have the Government release these funds at the earliest. Time and again, it has proven that a united effort by the citizenry for achieving a noble goal has always secured victory and I am confident that history shall not prove us wrong this time. Sign my petition.
The absence of development of infrastructural facilities makes it difficult for children to acquire professional education, due to financial instability in the majority of the households. At the same time, the poor situation of the educational infrastructure in Seemanchal also implies the deficiency of scholars, researchers and academicians, whose inputs and contributions are necessary for the evolution of a particular town.
As of today, the constant efflux of the masses from Bihar to other parts of the country is primarily due to the lack of adequate education facilities and hence, the narrow scope of enjoying a satisfactory lifestyle – ultimately, this vicious cycle is negatively impacting the growth of this region and even Bihar and any further in implementing the aforesaid remedy shall only aggravate these social crises.
Join me in making the education infrastructure stronger, and have the Government release the funds for the Aligarh Muslim University Centre in Kishanganj.
