Release ‘Diamonds & Dancefloors’ Now
The Issue
Ava Max’s Sophmore album, Diamonds & Dancefloors, originally had a planned album release date of October 14. Due to the fact that physical copies of the album were sent out even earlier than this, the full album has leaked online 3 months in advance of its new (delayed) release date of January 27th, 2023. Ava has expressed and tweeted that she wants the album out now. Several fans have expressed their opinions when the album started leaking on social media, using hashtags such as “#ReleaseDiamondsAndDancefloors” in the labels twitter account and other social media accounts replies. Ava’s label, Atlantic Records, seems to ignore fans pleading to release the album even now after it has fully leaked online 3 months ahead of its new release date, even though the leak is due to their poor management and not stopping these leaks when they started months ago. They seem to ignore many things due to this era and Ava in general, they seem to be paying her dust and not promoting her either, when this is her 2nd studio album and should be treated with respect for the hard work and music she put into this album for her fans and the world to hear. Free Ava from the prison bars of Atlantic Records and sign this petition to be on the right side of history in the fight to stop labels being greedy and wanting hits and forcing fans to wait months in advance for albums that have already been uploaded to the internet in full, partly due to them in the first place. The people have the power to change things like this!
