Thanks everyone for the outpouring of support for Dawit and his family. We're exploring several different avenue to help him, but there hasn't been significant progress yet. His brother Yonas is able to visit him and let him know of your support, for which he is extremely grateful.

We have heard that there has been increased focus on US citizens being held abroad from the US State Dept and Embassies, so (if you haven't already) it's very important that everyone send a message supporting Dawit to your Senators so that gets on their radar. We could be one contact away from the person in government who can make the difference.
