Release Archive Collection Editions of "London Town" and "Back to the Egg" by Paul McCartney

The Issue

As a devoted fan, I have noticed that two significant albums in Paul McCartney's discography, "London Town" and "Back to the Egg," have been unfairly overlooked. Instead, we are repeatedly presented with yet another deluxe edition of "Band on the Run". While this is a great album, it is disheartening to see other important works being suppressed.

These albums represent an essential part of McCartney's musical journey. Released in 1978 and 1979 respectively, both records were commercial successes. 'London Town' reached number 2 on the US Albums Chart while 'Back to The Egg' was certified platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America).

Despite their success and influence on music at that time, these albums are not getting their due recognition in terms of archive collections editions. This oversight not only deprives fans like me but also new generations who deserve to explore all facets of McCartney's musical genius.

Therefore, we urge the Paul McCartney team to release Archive Collection editions for both 'London Town' and 'Back To The Egg'. By doing so they would be acknowledging all aspects of his illustrious career rather than focusing predominantly on certain periods or works.
