We the residents, ratepayers and businesses of the Shoalhaven oppose the rate rise, (except the rate peg) and demand:

·         An inquiry into the management of the Councils Financial dealings including lack of works, maintenance, and renewal of the roads, which has seen roads deteriorate with enormous potholes, dangerous conditions, causing accidents and damage to our vehicles.

·         The treatment of arborists and industries, residents, and ratepayers over the amendments to the 45-degree rule / laws, which was carried by the casting vote of the Mayor.

·         The ability of ratepayers, residents, and businesses to pay up to 44% more on their Council rates.

We below publicly reject any rate rises in the 2024/25 year (except rate pegs) and ask Amanda Findley to resign effective immediately.
