As a concerned citizen ,I am deeply concerned about the proposed construction of a care home on the donkey field in Northwick Road. This area is not just any piece of land; it is an area of beauty and the only remaining unrestricted view across our river. It holds ecological value and historic interest, lying within an important wildlife corridor. The site floods frequently, and the road is narrow - any construction would necessitate widening it, thereby altering the character of our beloved area.

The previous application for development was rightfully rejected due to these reasons. Yet here we are again, facing another threat to our local environment with Application reference W/22/00227/out  on Wychavon councils website and APP/H1840/W/23/3319716 at the planning inspectorate at https://acp.planninginspectorate.gov.uk
We must remember that once we lose such precious spaces to urbanization, they are gone forever. We cannot allow this proposal to go forward without a fight!
