Covenant House Shelter Proposal Important Update

Thank you to everyone who has signed our petition so far. We now have 546 signatures!

Next Meeting Dates:

• Mar 13 & Mar 27 - DRC (TBD)
• Apr 7 - Planning & Zoning Board
• Apr 16 - City Commission

The Covenant House Florida proposal is not on the agenda for any of these meetings yet. Agendas for these meetings are sent out 7 days ahead of each meeting, and we will send an update here as soon as we know for sure when their application will be heard. These are the only opportunities for the public to speak directly to the decision-makers about this proposal.

Tell the Commissioners How You Feel

The best way you can make a difference is to share your concerns directly with the city commissioners. Email is the best way to reach them to ensure that your comments are included in the public record. Your collective voices carry a powerful message. (Lack of communication from the residents is often construed as approval of the proposal.)
