Residents of Pontlliw in Swansea, are deeply concerned about the proposed development by Pobl Group on Clordir Road. Our village is home to a primary school situated on the same road as this planned development. The safety of our children is paramount and we fear that this project will significantly increase traffic volumes on an already congested road.

Furthermore, local services in Pontlliw and the surrounding areas of Penllergaer and Pontarddulais are already stretched. This new housing project will only add more strain to these services which are vital for our community.

Additionally, we cannot ignore the potential environmental impact this development could have. Our village is surrounded by natural habitats that could be severely affected by such a project.

We urge Swansea Council to consider these factors when reviewing Pobl’s proposal. We believe that it would be detrimental to both our community and the environment around us.
