We are approaching 2,000 signatures, and I believe that number matters. The more people who sign, the greater the impact this petition may have. If it does not influence the prosecutor, it may still have an impact on the judge in this case.
I also recently did a short interview with WSBT in South Bend; hopefully I explained the public’s point of view. Hopefully, that will generate additional interest and bring more attention to the petition.
If you don’t mind, please make one more push to your friends and family and ask them to sign and share the petition. This is not just a La Porte issue. It speaks to the times we are living in and to an issue that affects our entire country.
We need to return to accountability, and I believe this is a good place to start.
