We are residents in Hull and surrounding areas who want to exercise our rights to reject the Proposal of Pole Installation from company Connexin onto our properties, land, drives, gardens, service strips, streets and roads. 

Connexin aim to install new above ground fibre infrastructure poles and cables connecting to private houses impacting residents that have a Notice of Proposed Pole Installation placed on neighbouring lamposts. 

We deem the proposal installation as unnecessary due to existing fibre networks and ducts underground that could be utilised. There are several fibre and wifi services to choose in Hull including Pure Broadband, Grain, Wisper, Kcom with infrastructure already in place and/or shared. Connexin could follow suit as another provider by this means.  

Placing poles and cables is stepping back in time and serves no purpose. It is an eye sore, will cause stress on residents mental health, environmentally unfriendly, cause disruption to driveways, parking, street passing, gardens.
