The Issue

The revised Bloor Homes plans for Coulter Lane and Church Road would build directly on Green Belt land. This land is protected for a reason and should not be released for development when the area cannot support it.

Burntwood already faces severe pressure on roads, GP services, drainage and public transport. Nothing in the revised plans fixes these long standing problems. Building on the Green Belt here would make them worse and permanently remove land that should be preserved for future generations. Residents are already struggling with congestion, flooding risks and limited access to healthcare. This development adds hundreds more houses with no new facilities in return.

We are calling on Lichfield District Council to reject this Green Belt development and to pause major proposals in this area until a full infrastructure review is carried out. Burntwood needs infrastructure first planning, not the loss of our Green Belt and more pressure on an already overstretched community. Please sign and share to protect Coulter Lane, Church Road and Burntwood’s Green Belt.

We are fighting to Reject the Bloor Homes development proposals for the land at Coulter Lane and Church Road.
