Folks, the Public is being conned by the Bahia Mar Lessee and its “useful idiots” at the City of Fort Lauderdale. There are many examples. Hers is another one. The Lease says the character of Bahia Mar must be maintained as a Marina. The iconic ‘Captain’s Quarters’ is a bar, cafe and lounge, located at the Marina office under the Tower, has been a meeting place for boaters at the Marina for decades. The Site Plan makes no mention of providing for this facility which makes the marina an important social and business meeting place and more that just a place to dock a boat. The Site Plan shows a rental apartment building on the South West corner of the property.
