Less than one year ago, a ground swell of thousands of Fort Lauderdale Citizens defeated the Proposed Bahia Mar Two Tall Towers Fiasco. Hundreds of hours of meetings and testimony and thousands of emails and letters to the Leaseholder/Developer, Planning and Zoning Staff and Bureaucrats and the City Commissioners paid off. Now the same bad actors are back with another poorly disguised proposal. But the “new” proposal still has all the same problems (except the shadows). The arguments against haven’t changed.
