The sudden disappearance of TikTok, a loved social media platform, has left many of us feeling disconnected and disheartened. This petition is personal because like many others, I am saddened by TikTok's ban. Everyone from creative influencers, to bored teenagers, to small businesses benefitted from this rapidly growing platform. According to Sensor Tower, TikTok reached 2 billion downloads in 2020, and was the most downloaded app. Its ban not only strips away an opportunity for laughs and creativity but also hampers the platform for thousands to connect and learn. Therefore, in unity, let's call upon the responsible authorities to bring back TikTok.
