Reintroduce the Death Penalty for Severe Criminal Offenses in Australia

The issue

I speak from a place of great personal concern. I live in a community where drug-related incidents are an everyday occurrence. We recently had a drug-addicted woman wreak havoc in Mount Gambier, abusing a local bus driver and stealing from Birdy Blue, a local clothing shop. How much longer can we allow such incidents to continue? How much longer can we expose our children to such dangers?

Australia abolished the death penalty in 1973, and since then, crime rates have fluctified. Many people think the ultimate deterrent—a potential loss of the offender’s life—would help prevent more serious crimes. However, reintroducing the death penalty is a controversial decision, one that must be thoroughly debated in our community, in our government, and across the entire country.

Could the death penalty help us deal with serious offenders, sending a strong message to all who think about committing crimes? We should have the chance to discuss and decide.

Sign this petition today to bring this important matter to the national stage for discussion and resolution. Your signatures can be the catalyst for a safer, more secure society. I want this to happen to these criminals because I believe they hurt and betrayed their own families and the rest of humanity itself and I can’t take anymore. If you are on drugs, lie, cheat or steal this is what is going to happen to you. Hanged by the hangman noose or electrocuted including shot by anExecution squad and you will lose your life for your crimes so my message is to everyone is get the message out now and start thinking about how to deal with this matter thank you
