Having grown up around my uncle's Timberwolves, I've been fortunate enough to deeply understand the nature of these magnificent creatures. They are skittish, playful, and a joy to observe. Far from the negative stigma that society has branded them with, wolves play an essential role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem.

Now, the Red Wolves are teetering on the brink of extinction in the wild. The current population is a terrifying number - just around 13. There are less than 300 Red Wolves in breeding programs while the rest of their species have sadly disappeared from our forests and our lives.

The situation is grim, but not hopeless. We can change the future of Red Wolves. It's time that we take a step to reintroduce these creatures to their homes in the wild, particularly in our National Parks.
