Reinstatement of Crissy Howes (Flimzy) on the RPF Forum

Reinstatement of Crissy Howes (Flimzy) on the RPF Forum
The Issue
Crissy Howes, who goes by the screen name "Flimzy," was recently banned off of the Replica Prop Forum. Ms. Howes was banned for violating community terms and guidelines.
"We reserve the right to change, add to, and interpret any part of the Community Guidelines in a manner we believe best serves our Communities." This is a direct quote from the forum.
The offense in question that Ms. Howes committed was a post within her build thread about tariffs in the United Kingdom and the Unites States of America. However, to anyone's knowledge, Ms. Howes has never intentionally flouted the rules or gone out of her way to antagonize anyone on the forum. She’s an extraordinary model maker who brought a lot of inspiration, knowledge and joy to the RPF over the years. It seems reasonable to hope that a member like her might had earned a bit of lenience — a warning and second chance before outright banning.
Is such a nuclear action in banning Ms. Howes really in the best service of the RPF community? All of the parties involved need to take a step back and examine the situation;
first, the RPF Moderators in seeing that a lot of that political rant was just made out of frustration (everybody can have a bad day) and, that along the years, Ms. Howes was known for her high professionalism, sharing countless photos of her work on various major movies and tricks of the trade with RPFers. If Ms. Howes had used your skills and creativity to push such agendas, then the ban would be understandable and acceptable. However, this a is a loss to the RPF community, not to mention this could harm Ms. Howes in her professional life. It is the community's hope that the Moderators take these things into account, if they recant and give her another chance, it is also the community's hope that Ms. Howes will be back gracing the RPF with her invaluable knowledge and expertise.
