Everyone is complaining about the Vintage Cavalcade, yet nobody is willing to stand up and say anything in support of it.

To make one point clear... I do not nor never had any intention of trying to take over from BOVC with regards to the running of the Display nor Cavalcade.

I just don't agree with the fact that CC&GBC are solely basing their arrangements on the opinion of the BOVC, meaning that the rest of the local Vintage & Classic Vehicle Community have no dog in the fight unless they are a member of the BOVC themselves. 

BOVC have successfully organised and ran their own meetings and numerous charity events in the last few years, and should be commended on that, but the simple fact remains that unless you are a BOVC member, you have no say in the Ballymoney Spring Fair Vintage Cavalcade, and that is simply not acceptable. 

This is absolutely not any slight on Harry Frizzell himself nor any members of the BOVC themselves, its simply that I am making a stand for those in the Vintage Community whose voices have no way of being heard, and as such their opinions are being ignored. 

I'm seriously wondering why I am even bothering tbh, as I'm left holding the can all by myself, and wondering why the f**k I am giving myself all the hassle with no backing...

Anyway, I'm here now, and aim to help restore the respect and acclaim that the Vintage & Classic Vehicle Community brought to the Spring Fair for years. I do not care who runs it, nor takes the appreciation for keeping it going, it's enough for me that is given the respect it deserves, especially for the memories of those no longer with us who supported the event so well in its founding years.
