The Reedy Creek Improvement District (RCID) has been a vital part of Orlando, Florida's community and infrastructure. It was established in 1967 to govern the land of the Walt Disney World Resort. Over time, it has provided essential services such as power generation, water treatment and emergency services to local residents and businesses. However, recent changes have led to its dissolution.
