As residents of Hackbridge and Carshalton, Wallington, UK, peoples daily commute to work has become increasingly difficult due to overcrowding on trains and at Balham station. Many of us moved to this area with the expectation of using the London Bridge service from Hackbridge and Carshalton station. Unfortunately, this service was discontinued causing significant inconvenience for local residents.

The discontinuation of this service has led to an increase in overcrowding at Balham station where many commuters now have to change for the Northern line. This not only lengthens our commute but also creates safety concerns due to overcrowding.

Reinstating the London Bridge service would provide much-needed relief for hundreds of commuters like myself who rely on public transportation daily. It would reduce congestion at Balham station and make our journeys more comfortable and safer.

We urge Network Rail and Southern Railway, who jointly manage services in our area, to consider reinstating this vital link between Hackbridge/Carshalton and London Bridge. By doing so, they will significantly improve commuting conditions for residents in our community.
