Proctor R. Hug High School's GT Institute was defunded in September of 2025 due to decreasing enrollment. I personally know many people who have been personally impacted greatly by the Institute and have been given opportunities, experiences, and connections they would've otherwise missed out on. In addition, I know many more people who could've benefited greatly from the program but now will never get the chance to pursue the accelerated courses offered - unless we all come together and show the district how important this program is to so many people. So, please, please, please, sign this and spread the word to as many people as possible!
