Hi, we are Will and Nicole and we are students at the City of Glasgow College. We are representing our fellow students in our course who were wanting to progress onto Radio and Podcasting HNC but cannot because our college cut the course right as applications opened to the public. We have been chucked into the deep end, after applying to Radio and Podcasting HNC, we have been told on the day of college applications opening to the public that Radio and Podcasting HNC is no longer a thing, leaving us on a tight deadline to not only find a new course that will take us off the expected trajectory but to have to compete against the public, leaving us no guarantee of having a course next year. In an attempt to obtain support for the Radio and Podcasting HNC course, a petition and emails have been sent to college management. However, we need your support in order to receive an education we are not able to get in Glasgow, Edinburgh or other surrounding areas because this is the only radio course in Scotland. This is one of many course cuts, with other students in need of this exact support, so with your help we can try to reinstate this course to the college and hopefully motivate students of other courses to do the same for theirs.
