The recent removal of spreads from the menu at Viva College School in Jinja, Uganda has caused disappointment among students and parents alike. Spreads are not only a beloved part of our meals but also provide essential nutrients that contribute to the overall health and well-being of students. According to the World Health Organization, spreads like peanut butter are rich in proteins, healthy fats, and fiber which are crucial for growing children (source: WHO). We believe that reinstating spreads will improve student satisfaction with meals while also contributing positively to their nutritional intake. Please sign this petition to urge Viva College School administration to bring back spreads on their menu.
