The TV LIne article by Matt Webb Mitovich discusses ABC's decision to air 18 consecutive episodes with no Reruns in between for The Rookie and Will Trent. This is EXACTLY what would have made So Help Me Todd a runaway success if Paramount/CBS had spent less time on reviewing numbers, and more time using common sense. 
So Help Me Todd was able increase ratings for 7 consecutive episodes in its first season, even with reruns mixed in. It was the interruption of both game 5 of the 2022 World Series, and then reruns in February of 2023 when every other Network was broadcasting new episodes, that kept Todd from easily being a top 10 Television Series in its first season.
