Being able to promote all 3 series that are on the same night, in the same promo, is more bang for the CBS promotional buck, and would prove entertaining and memorable.
A Friday Night Line-up of Elsbeth, Todd and Matlock could also be marketed as Friday Family Fun Night. Might be a nice, much needed change of pace to have one's kids watch the same shows as their parents on a Friday night, rather than preoccupied Parent's worried a loved one might be influenced to try a dangerous drug being offered as harmless at a Party their kids promised would be a safe party to attend.
Having a loved one wake up early on Saturday ready to take on the day, rather than get into an every night out weekend, while sleeping in during the day weekend funk routine, can bring a family closer together. So Sad CBS missed such an amazing opportunity that was right in front of them, very sad.
Could a Ladies Night on CBS have saved lives, lots of lives?

Twice as many people will die in the U.S. in one year's time from drug overdoses than 20 years of Viet Nam soldier deaths.
Let's limit the damage CBS has wrought with their tunnel visioned view of the people they serve, the fans of their shows, by not giving up in our quest to Save So Help Me Todd and the characters in Todd that are relatable to people of ALL Ages.
