Reinstate Rohith Gupta as Squad 63 mentor
The Issue
We, the members of Squad 63, are writing to express our collective frustration and discontent with the recent changes to our mentorship leadership. Rohith Gupta has been an exceptional mentor, providing guidance, understanding, and a fair approach to all members, which has cultivated a positive and productive environment for our squad. Unfortunately, his recent replacement has led to a leadership style that feels more like a dictatorship than a supportive community.
Rohith Gupta demonstrated exceptional dedication and sensitivity to our squad’s dynamics. His mentorship was filled with empathy and encouragement, fostering an atmosphere where everyone felt valued and motivated. Many of us have flourished under his guidance, as he recognized and nurtured each of our strengths while helping us through our weaknesses. His approach was not only constructive on an individual level but also united us as a team, making us more effective and harmonious.
In contrast, the current leadership lacks transparency and inclusiveness. Decisions are made unilaterally without any consultation, creating an environment of tension and discomfort. Instead of fostering growth and collaboration, this authoritarian style has stifled our squad's development and morale. We have gone from feeling valued and important to overlooked and oppressed.
We believe that the choice of mentor is critical not only for individual growth but for the whole squad's wellbeing and cohesion. Rohith Gupta has proven through action and leadership that he is exactly the kind of mentor and guide we need. His return would not only restore prior harmony but also ensure the continued success and satisfaction of Squad 63.
We urge the decision-makers to reconsider the current mentorship assignment and reinstate Rohith Gupta for the betterment of all. Please stand with us in asking for a return to the effective and supportive mentorship we benefited from under Rohith’s guidance.
