Hi everyone, 

Our team extends a massive 'thank you', for signing, sharing, and supporting our mission; we are getting so close to 3000 signatures!

It has now been over 4 months since Rebel Dog Rescue was permanently banned from PetFinder.com. Despite the outpour of support from dog lovers around the world, there have been no further steps taken by PetFinder to come to a reasonable solution.

Our team has felt the strain on adoptions; the animals who we have rescued are ultimately the ones who suffer. Although one of PetFinder's missions states 'Increase public awareness of the availability of high-quality adoptable pets', the lack of exposure due to the life-long ban on our volunteer-run organization has resulted in lower adoption rates.

It brings us much sadness to announce that our team has decided to reduce the number of animals we rescue each year from approximately 300 to 150. The lack exposure and consequently adoptions, have resulted in long-stay fosters, who we will not allow to fall through the cracks. It breaks out hearts to know that we could be doing so much more for the dogs on euthanasia lists and in dire situations if we were given the chance to post on PetFinder again. 

We are continuing to brainstorm regarding how we can achieve the level of exposure that we once had for our animals; and will continue to fight for the voiceless.
