Hi everyone, it has been 3 months since this petition was launched and 6 months since we were permanently banned from PetFinder. We feel the love and support from you, and thank you for knowing what’s right by the dogs who need us - more than ever. A couple months ago we had to make the difficult decision to limit our rescue efforts from roughly 25 dogs every month, to every other month. Today we are now being forced to consider whether or not we have to stop our rescue efforts indefinitely - at least until the dogs who we have reached and are currently caring for find homes. We continue to wonder why PetFinder believes this is the right thing to do; how it aligns with their mission. We are at a loss. We are on Adopt a Pet, Rescue Me, and of course post all our dogs on social media, but we are struggling, and ultimately, dogs are sufferings. Will PetFinder ever change their minds and see what is best for the dogs? Will another organization who supports animal welfare and rescue efforts decide to launch their version of an adoption site? Will someone with ‘power’ and influence see this and want to help us fight for what’s right? Nearly 10,000 supporters who can see what’s right, yet we feel defeated.
