The team at RDR has been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support that they have received on this matter. Petfinder has yet to respond to our attempts to communicate with them, but we will be reaching out again next week. Let’s get to 1000 signatures by Monday! Rescue takes a village, and each signature is hopefully one step closer to saving more helpless animals.
As many of you know, adoptions are slower than ever, and the lack of exposure exacerbates this issue. The less dogs that we can successfully place in forever homes, the less dogs we can save from euthanasia and dire circumstances. Attached are 9 beautiful and unsuspecting dogs that were all euthanized at a single shelter yesterday. We are begging Petfinder for a final chance to prove ourselves over this technicality.
As mentioned, our team is 100% volunteer run. We have full-time jobs, families, responsibilities and oversee all aspects of running a non-profit organization. We admittedly fell behind on the location updates and have vowed to rectify our errors by putting a new structure in place. We hope that Petfinder can find it in their hearts to think about the lives at stake, and ask them to come to a reasonable solution so that we can continue to work together. We believe that the lives of these animals are not a fair trade for a systematic error. We need to continue to fight for the voiceless.
PLEASE KEEP SHARING!
