Every day, countless animals are abandoned on the sides of roads, in bins, parks, and so many other desolate places. They are left with nothing but fear, and a heartbreaking struggle for survival. Rescue and rehoming centers are under immense pressure, overwhelmed with the number of animals abandoned each day.

In fact, according to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), approximately 6.5 million companion animals enter U.S. animal shelters nationwide every year, many of them abandoned by families unprepared for the responsibility of pet ownership.
