Reinstate Perky's Educational YouTube Channel

The Issue

Our YouTube channel was recently removed for “nudity and sexual content,” despite the fact that all our videos are educational and focused on supporting breast cancer survivors. At Perky, we specialize in 3D nipple tattoos, scar camouflage, and sharing healing journeys. This content helps thousands of women regain confidence and feel whole after mastectomy or breast surgery complications. The removal of our channel isn’t just a mistake — it’s the silencing of a vital community resource.

We're a very small, female-run business giving everything we have to help a community that means the world to us. Many breast cancer survivors rely on us to see themselves reflected. We provide safe, non-sexualized education about nipple tattoos — a deeply personal and empowering form of healing after cancer. We amplify survivor voices and share stories that break stigma and censorship. Our content offers emotional support and practical advice for post-mastectomy care and recovery.

The removal of our content not only hinders our ability to provide these crucial services but also infringes on the rights of breast cancer survivors to access resources that are meant to empower them. It’s crucial that platforms like YouTube preserve spaces for educational content that uplift and support marginalized communities, especially for individuals who have been through life-altering health battles.

YouTube has clear guidelines meant to differentiate between inappropriate content and legitimate educational material — we strongly believe our content falls into the latter category. It is crucial that similar educational resources remain accessible, and getting our channel reinstated sets a precedent for preventing future errors that could deprive communities of vital information.

We urge YouTube to review their decision and recognize the immense value that our content brings. By reinstating our channel, YouTube not only supports our small business but also acknowledges the importance of educational and empowering resources for breast cancer survivors across the globe.

Please sign this petition to help us advocate for the voices of breast cancer survivors and ensure that their stories, education, and healing journeys remain accessible to all who need them. Together, we can work towards a more understanding and supportive platform for all.
