... read an Argyll and Bute school librarian's letter to the Council, published on the SABSL facebook page yesterday. If you care, what can you do? Make a fuss! Please write, phone, ask your local Councillors, Dick Walsh and Rory Colville to reconsider. They could bring a motion to the full Council meeting on 30th June to stop this cut. Thank you to the Councillors who have already opposed the removal of school librarians and who have sent kind replies to the school librarian's letter. Let's hope they’ll continue to stand up for school librarians and for the young learners in Argyll and Bute secondary schools.
