His dedication to his athletes was unmatched to the point of sacrificing his time missing his own children events for our team. His absence has left a gaping hole in our hearts and our team.

Coach Clifton tirelessly worked to cultivate not only great athletes but outstanding young men. Under his leadership, our team achieved remarkable successes from breaking school records to sending multiple athletes to state. He has fostered an environment of sportsmanship, hard work, and unity. He inspired us to push beyond our limits, on and off the field. His innovative training methods and support he gave us the confidence and strength to face challenges head-on.

The abrupt nature of Coach Clifton’s departure has shocked the boys track and field team. Questions about the reasons behind his removal remain, as no formal explanation was provided.
