One of the key players, Nayef Awada, who has shown immense talent and commitment, was removed from the team for the 2025-2026 season. This petition aims to bring him back on the team, where he belongs.

Nayef Awada has not only been a valuable player on the field but has also demonstrated excellent leadership qualities. His dedication to the sport and to his teammates has been evident in his consistent performance and his encouraging presence both in practice and during games.

Statistics show that Nayef has been one of the top players during the previous seasons, contributing significantly to the team’s victories and standing in inter-school tournaments. Reinstating Nayef not only ensures the team retains its competitive edge but also sends a positive message about fairness and recognition of talent.

We urge the Dearborn High School administration and the coaching staff to reconsider their decision and allow Nayef Awada to rejoin the football team. His presence is crucial for the team's success and the spirit of fair play. Nayef Awada has previously stated, “ I will love to finish my high school career with my friends after doing it together for 7 years and building the greatest memories on the field”, but also would love to finish senior season before continuing his collegiate career at Arkansas State University”.
