Reinstate my Karuk Tribe employment
The Issue
I recently went in to work one morning to be informed that I was suspended from my position as the Youth Mentorship Program Manager for the Karuk Tribe, accused of unprofessional conduct while working with schools and families. This allegation does not, however, reflect my dedication and the professionalism I have consistently shown during my tenure. For years, I have committed myself to nurturing a positive environment for our young members, collaborating closely with educational institutions and families to support the development and growth of our youth.
Many in our community know me as someone who goes above and beyond to provide guidance, support, and mentorship to the youth of the Karuk Tribe. This journey has not just been a job for me, but a mission driven by a genuine desire to see young community members thrive. My work has always focused on building trust, fostering open communication, and creating enriching opportunities for the youth.
The investigation into my conduct has taken a toll not just on my career but on the very programs that many in the community rely on.
