Your support is helping!  At the last board meeting because of all of your voices school board representative Mr. John Thomas wrote an eloquent well thought-out thought-provoking speech that he delivered to the audience and his fellow board members.  His goal was to get his fellow board members to revisit the firing of Ms. Calhoun.  It was not to make a decision one way or the other but just to revisit and look at this situation again.  The board members were not receptive they were not open to discussing this in any way.  His speech fell on deaf ears but not to the supporters in the audience.  It was a shame that they did not even want to revisit this topic even though there was a massive amount of support in the room and from the over 50,000 petitioners.  They did not listen to your voice or his!  They're set in their ways and not representing us and not thinking about the children and not thinking about the teachers!   

We need your continual support!

let them know that miss Calhoun is not alone! 

Let them know that what they did was wrong and unjust.   Mr. John Thomas made a very compelling argument to just revisit this and look at this in a way as to not lose teachers and to support teachers. I believe Mr. John Thomas would not have even made this attempt to simply revisit this if it wasn't for your support!
