We are a group of students from Tenafly, NJ, who have had the privilege of learning from Mr. Dylan Liu. He is not just a teacher to us; he is a mentor and an inspiration. His dedication to his profession and his students is unparalleled.

Mr. Liu was abruptly dismissed right before he received tenure for his 4 years of hard work at our school. This decision has left us shocked and saddened as we believe it was unjustified.

Tenure in education provides job security for teachers who have shown their competence over time (National Education Association). It's disheartening that Mr. Liu's four years of commitment were disregarded so easily.

As students, we feel that this decision does not reflect our best interests or those of our educational community in Tenafly, NJ. We strongly believe that Mr. Liu deserves to be reinstated.

We urge the school administration to reconsider their decision and reinstate Mr. Dylan Liu as a teacher at our school - for the sake of quality education and justice.
