Reinstate Molly Noblitt's Right to Speak on Aubreigh Wyatt's Case

Reinstate Molly Noblitt's Right to Speak on Aubreigh Wyatt's Case
The Issue
This petition was born out of a personal experience that sees a daughter's voice, Molly Noblitt, unfairly silenced. Molly has lost a dear friend, Aubreigh Wyatt, and the court case surrounding Aubreigh's death has implemented a stifling rule stating that Molly, her friends, and any associates of the Noblitt or Wyatt Family, are barred from speaking about the situation. This denies a basic principle of voice and expression that we strongly believe should not be curtailed.
Statistics from the National Coalition Against Censorship show that judicial gag orders, while sometimes essential, can also disrupt the healing process for many individuals involved (source: NCAC Report 2023). In Molly’s case, the restrictions placed on her seem to serve no purpose but to isolate and punish her further, a direct contravention of her rights of expression and due process, as defined in The First Amendment of the United States Constitution.
As individuals, citizens, and proponents of justice, we must draw attention to Molly's situation and raise our collective voices against her imposed silence. We call on judicial authorities and policymakers to review and rectify this situation, thereby allowing Molly Noblitt to express her grief, her perspective, and her truth about the tragic loss of Aubreigh Wyatt, a valuable part of her life story silenced by the gag order. Please sign this petition if you believe in restoring her right to speak.
