This petition stems from a deep sense of injustice and frustration. Paramount & Spyglass, powerhouses in the film industry, is currently on what can only be described as an unwarranted power trip. First, they refused to pay Neve Campbell her deserved salary, resulting in her exit from the beloved Scream franchise. Now, Melissa Barrera has been dismissed simply for sharing a political opinion.

This action shows a blatant disregard for their audience's attachment to these characters and actors. The Scream franchise has been built on its iconic leads - removing them without cause is unprofessional and disrespectful to fans worldwide.

Melissa Barrera's dismissal due to expressing her political views sets a dangerous precedent within Hollywood – one where freedom of speech is suppressed under corporate power. This isn't right or fair.

We must stand up against this unjust behavior by Paramount & Spyglass and demand that they reinstate Melissa Barrera in her role in Scream 7. It's time we remind them that.

This franchise has been held close to all of our hearts, the audience, the actors, and the crew who have worked on this. It's sad to see Paramount & Spyglass put themselves first before the movie, crew, actors, and the fans themselves for their own benefit.
