Matt Hayter’s recent suspension by RCW Management was unjust. Therefore we, the inhabitants of Riot City, demand that he be reinstated to his position. We cannot accept this gross miscarriage of justice. If the Sheriff and the rest of RCW’s management are not held to account, how can we be sure they will not continue to overstep?

What happened:

During a Riot City Wrestling event on the 5th of April, superstar Matt Hayter defeated the vicious Dean Brady. After the match, however, Violet Blitz and Dean Brady attempted to attack Matt Hayter. Though unsuccessful, the attack did lead to Matt Hayter fighting back and taking down Dean Brady. After this, RCW’s Sheriff Downunder made the decision to suspend Matt Hayter. This is unfair based on the following factors:

1. Matt Hayter was not the aggressor in this scenario. Rather, he acted only to defend himself.
2. Dean Brady and Violet Blitz initiated the attack. These two (and the rest of the Old Guard) have been causing problems for Matt Hayter for months on end. This incident was no exception, and it is unfair for Matt Hayter to be punished for something that was not his fault.
3. Matt Hayter is not characterised by post-match violence. This is not something that regularly occurs, and he has not often received suspensions for behavioural matters in recent times. 

What we demand:

We, the fans, supporters and loyal followers of Riot City Wrestling, demand simply that Matt Hayter be given immediate clearance to return to RCW whenever he is ready. He should not be forced to remain on the sidelines for his completely justifiable actions. If you want justice, please take a couple of minutes to sign and share this petition so that a fair outcome can be reached.

I know I’m speaking for more than just myself when I say that we NEED Matt Hayter back in RCW as soon as possible. Matt Hayter has been a fixture in RCW as long as I’ve been watching. The earliest show I ever went to had Matt Hayter beating Jett Armstrong in the main event. RCW needs the return of Matt Hayter. #FreeHayter
