Jeff Mezzatesta, better known as Coach Mezz, has been with Carver's Bay High School since it originated in 2000. While at CBHS, he has been a Georgetown County School District Teacher of the Year, a Lower State Champion Basketball Coach, an Athletic Director, and CBHS's Boys Cross Country Coach. On 06/04/24, Coach Mezz was let go against his own will from CBHS. Our community is devastated by this news because of all the great things and positive impact Coach Mezz has made throughout his years at CBHS. He has given CBHS his all.

Since Coach Mezz has selflessly poured out his heart and soul into the lives of our children and community throughout the years, it's only right that we stand with him in solidarity and petition Carver's Bay High School and the Georgetown School Board District to have him reinstated back into his job as a Teacher and Head Coach at Carver's Bay High School.
