We, as concerned families of Rock Prairie Elementary School students, cherish Principal Jeff Durand and everything he stands for.  He cares for his staff, and he knows each of our children by name.  Our kids are privileged to be educated under his guidance. Every year he takes the time to recognizes each car in the school pick up line, he knows every child by name and is in constant support for his teachers and staff. This kind of dedication is unparalleled, and we believe no one can provide a more welcoming, nurturing educational environment than Principal Durand.  He is irreplaceable.  

We are petitioning the College Station Independent School Board, beseeching them to utilize their executive power to reinstate Jeff Durand as the principal at Rock Prairie Elementary. In the spirit of encouraging a loving, educational atmosphere for our children, it's important that a caring and dedicated individual like Principal Durand leads the school. 

In addition, we the parents ask the school board to review past policies and actions of our superintendent and re-evaluate his position in our community. 

This is a community appeal about preserving the cherished environment our children have learned and grown in.  It's about nurturing their young minds with a reliable and familiar face of care and knowledge.  We invite you to join us in our plea, for the betterment of our community, and most importantly, for the future of our children.
