Esther Funds Foundation (EFF) is calling on Howard University to create an immediate, transparent reinstatement pathway for Fall 2026 students who report losing admission, courses, or housing while documented financial aid, external scholarships, waivers, tuition discounts, payment plans, or account corrections were still pending.

Howard has published current payment and registration processes, but students contacting EFF describe urgent situations where an unresolved record can affect enrollment and housing before review is complete. Because every case is different, this petition does not claim that every balance or cancellation was erroneous. It asks Howard to provide a fair, individualized review before a student’s academic place is permanently lost.

We respectfully ask Howard University to:

1. Reinstate affected students provisionally while individual cases are reviewed, when legally and operationally possible.
2. Restore original course schedules and housing assignments, or preserve comparable placements.
3. Protect accepted and pending financial aid, scholarships, waivers, discounts, and documented payment arrangements while records are reconciled.
4. Give each affected student one case liaison, an itemized account explanation, remaining required actions, and a written decision.
5. Pause reassignment of seats, classes, and housing while a timely review is pending.
6. Publish one transparent, uniform reinstatement and review process for affected students.

Howard University alone controls admission, enrollment, housing, and aid decisions. EFF’s advocacy goal is complete reinstatement for every affected student after a fair review. Public petition signatures will never replace individual case review, and no student’s private financial or education records should be posted here.
