To the office of the Mayor of Euclid and the Chief of Police of Euclid:

We, the undersigned residents of Euclid, Ohio, are respectfully calling on you to reinstate Lynda Caynor and Kristen Angelo as Lead Animal Control Officer and Assistant Animal Control Officer immediately. They made a poor choice which did not impact their work as Animal Control Officers, but rather impacted the perception of them as officers in the community. As such, we urge you to consider a less harsh consequence of suspension without pay for some period, a letter of reprimand in their file, and a warning that a second offence will not be tolerated. 

Lynda and Kristen have dedicated years to the shelter and the lives of the animals of Euclid. In the few months they have been in charge they have made several positive changes at the shelter, welcomed many new volunteers, and are knowledgeable in the care and treatment of the animals that often come into the shelter in bad shape. These two have spoken up for Euclid animals when no one else would. The volunteers at the shelter depend on their expertise. Especially as the cold season is coming on, we need Lynda and Kristen with their experience and dedication at the shelter.
